Inscribed by author to Volume I front free endpaper. Burgundy buckram, gilt titles and insignia stamped to fronts and spines. Volume I jacket shows light staining at the lower edge, close to and including the spine. Both jackets show light wear at the upper edge. Both tomes are clean and bright, tight,solid.
