About This Item

1900 hardcover as pictured. A comprehensive review of New York State's natural resources at the turn of the last century. Includes over one hundred illustrations, many by noted artist Sherman Foote Denton. Binding is intact though rear hinge is cracked and partially detached from text block. Blue cloth boards with stamped pictorial front are lightly soiled and faded over spine with slight edge wear. Patterned endpapers. Rear endpaper and prior page remained attached to rear board and are folded and torn along fore-edge. First few pages are wavy and mottled. Fore edge has water staining that does not intrude into text and illustrations. Text is age tanned with mottling of some pages but appears otherwise clean. No dust jacket. Your purchase helps support our small village library. s
