No other indication of BCE; no blind stamp seen on back board. Hard cover in very good condition with gray boards, deep beige spine cloth, and gold gilt spine lettering. Interior text block clean & tight; no writing, no markings noted. Front endpapers: black & white 1901 Byron photograph of Madison Square ( looking south from about 24th Street) when its hub was Madison Square Garden. Back endpapers: The drawing room of the W. C. Whitney home at 871 Fifth Avenue, 1899. Included in groups throughout are sections of black & white photos; approx 35 photos in total, Dust jacket very good with rubbing /tiny creases to corners and head & heel of spine. * From the book, ""Few streets in the world hold the allure of Fifth Avenue.
