Acceptable hardcover (Lippincott, 1881, 496 pages); brown leather backstrip, bright gilt titles, hubbed spine; boards covered in tan cloth with debossed black titles and decoration, as pictured; pages clean, tight, unmarked, lightly age-tanned; illustrated with numerous engravings; binding sound and square; grape-sized piece of leather missing from backstrip near bottom front spine-corner; rubbing at corners; previous owner's name nicely calligraphed in pencil on flyleaf; front interior hinge shows slight split, back interior hinge show slight partial split, but underlying mesh is intact and hinges are firm; on its way to you the same or next day in bubblewrap; email confirmation; standard (media) mail takes 4-14 days; expedited (priority) mail takes 2-5 days; international orders go by airmail (6-10 days).
