Deals with Joe Lee, a Dundee-born writer and journalist who served in France with the Black Watch during the Great War. He was captured in December 1917 and spent the rest of the War as a PoW. He wrote three books of war poetry but was never really recognised as one of the "War Poets". 224pp, b&w illustrations.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
