Phila: Lippincott, 1930. First. Hardcover. Near Fine/Yes. First American edition. Ochre buckram stamped in gilt352 pps. with general index and legal index. 54 photographic plates plus 105 further illustrations and diagrams throughout the text. A tight, bright, near fine copy with a narrow band of very minor damping to the top egde of the front cloth. In the scarce dust jacket, tan lettered in red and with tipped on photographs front panel and spine. Jacket is worn about the egdes and has dampstaining along the top edge of the front panel. Withal, a very acceptable collectors copy, uncommon in dust jacket.
