Small book of Germanic legends, fables, stories, myths, stirring events of the ancient past, by a true son of the Rhineland, Wilhelm Ruland. Lovely red cloth covered boards with gilt lettering and design on front. Illustrated. Interior is clean, unmarked, untorn, toned. A very nice volume.The jacket is in good condition, illustrated with a mythological scene; white of jacket is a bit darkened; spine head and heel chipped; tiny chips to edges and corners. Seventeen full-page drawings plus smaller drawings in text.
