New York, NY: Dial Press. Very Good in Good dust jacket. 1962. First Edition. Cloth. "Fire on the Mountain is a novel about a man who decides to defy the whole United States government." Signed by Abbey on first free endpaper, very likely later signature than 11/1/62 date. Previous owner's gift inscription on same page, otherwise interior free of markings. Red on yellow boards with black imprint are slightly rubbed at corners with a few bumped, bottom edge of spine is significantly bumped. Mylar-wrapped dust jacket is creased on interior flap with price but has not been clipped. Rubbing along edges and corners, few chips and tears which have been repaired with tape. Some foxing around edges of tape.; Book; 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall; Signed by Author(s) .
