Charles Scribner's Sons, 1957. Book Club (BCE/BOMC) . Cloth. Fine/Fair. (BOMC Selection) Large, heavy book, shiny red cloth, gilt bright on spine, 373 pages, photo section. DJ red, white and blue with small illustration of fort at top with Union and Confederate flag. DJ has very slight surface wear to front tips, micronicks at top front edge next to spine, front lightly rubbed, spine badly faded with brown spots, nicks at spine edges, bluish photo of Swanberg on back, light blue staining to much of back. Fair DJ/Fine book.
