Farjeon's first book of memoirs appeared under the title Edward Thomas: The Last Four Years.Presentation copy from the author, inscribed by her on the front free endpaper: ''For dear Kaye on her birthday, these sonnets the first of which was written before she was born. From her loving Eleanor. January 26th 1964''. The recipient is Kaye Webb, the editor and publisher of children's books; in 1970 she won the Eleanor Farjeon Award for services to children's literature.Fine in fine dustwrapper with a hint of rubbing to the head of the spine.
