Published over a very long period and seldom found complete. It includes an index of the ichthyological papers (including all references to the species and genera) of Pieter Bleeker, and a mounted portrait of this eminent ichthyologist of the 19th century who contributed by far the most to the ichthyology of the Malayan archipelago.
