Square octavo blue gilt pictorial cloth (tips worn/sl.marked/small vents to lower hinge) Top Edge Gilt xi+328pp Some pale foxing and some fore-edges slightly dusty, 2 leaves torn (without loss) & those 2 also dusty. *Seems to be the author's only children's book - he is best known for Palgrave's Golden Treasury. Bound by Burn with his ticket and illustrated by Hughes including a TP in red and black. (White 170; Reid 92; Fredeman 93.10; Goldman 338; Roberts B14).
