This is the first printing of another excellent Famous Five adventure. All pages are present and correct and are tightly bound. Neat gift inscription to half title page. Book sits soild and square with all corners sharp. Double matching black and white endpapers to front and rear of book. A very clean copy indeed. Housed in the colourful Eileen Soper dustwrapper which has been neatly priceclipped. Light overall wear and signs of handling. Chip to the bottom edge of front panel otherwise a presentable example of the dustwrapper. Protected in a removable archival booksleeve to preserve its condition. This book is number 11 in the series, with no doubt more great outdoor perilous adventure and lashings of ginger beer ! A presentable and collectable copy which is inexplicably scarce.. First Edition. Very Good +/Very Good. Illus. by Eileen Soper. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. FIRST EDITION.
