Printed for Lackington, Allen, and Co, London, 1812, new edition. Old (probably original) green half leather binding with marbled boards. Five raised bands to spine with horizontal gilt ruled lines. Gilt titling (Mavor's Five Hundred Points of Husbandry) on a red leather patch to compartment two. Aem. 8.75ins x 6ins, marbled endpapers, 36pp, xl, 338pp. Mavor has based this edition on those of 1580 and 1585 and he has added explanatory notes and a glossary. There is also a list of previous editions in the preliminary dissertation and a biographical sketch. Top of spine rubbed. Previous owners name and date of 1890 to verso of front free endpaper. Also remnants of a label, otherwise a VG attractive copy.
