Hardback, 1948, first edition, published by Charles Scribner's Sons, New York, 56 pages + viii.
No dust jacket. Dark blue cloth boards and spine, with marking and scuffing, plus a tear to the upper spine. Title on spine faded. Binding holding but strained in several places. Corners bumped and a little torn. Some browning and a little tanning to page edges. Information sheet about the author (possibly part of the original dust jacket) taped onto FFEP. Page surfaces generally clean but some pages contain pencil marks, underlining and marginalia. See pictures for further information.
