New York: Harper & Row, 1964. Stated first edition, 1964. Black cloth printed in gilt, with dustjacket. The book is in very good condition with modest rubbing to corners, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages, old address label on front free endpaper with name and address blacked out, no other markings. The mylar protected dustjacket is not priceclipped [4.95] and is fair to good with some closed tears edgewear, shelf soil to the white background, almost no paper loss.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
Synopsis
The Flight of the Phoenix is a 1964 novel by Elleston Trevor. The plot involves the crash of a transport aircraft in the middle of a desert and the survivors' desperate attempt to save themselves. It was the basis for a 1965 and later 2004 film adaptation with the same name.
