Paris: J. Rothschild, Éditeur, 1881. Deuxième Edition orné de 500 gravures et planches. Hardcover. Very Good +/None Issued. XXII, 379, [1] pages, [56] leaves of plates (some color) : illustrations ; 40 cm. Elephant Folio. Bound by Zaehnsdorf in full brown crushed morocco paneled in gilt, 5 raised bands with compartments stamped in gilt, covers triple bordered in gilt, as are all edges. Book Condition: Very Good at least with mild to moderate wear to extremities, front hinge starting and very light occasional foxing. Spectacular Zaehnsdorg binding.
