The history of the many lives of the Florham estate from farmland to Gilded Age estate to a traditional small college campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University. The late 19th century mansion was the home of the Vanderbilt-Twombly family. The 110-room mansion was designed by McKim, Mead & White and the landscaping by Frederick Law Olmsted.
