London: Whittaker & Co, 1839. Hardcover. Near fine. 8vo. 296pp. Bound issues from January through December, 1839, comprising Volume VII , No. 71, through No. 82. Each issue but December is prefaced by a full page hand-colored plate, except for July and August, which each have two, plus there is a frontispiece, for a total of 14 plates. With an engraved title page, a typeset title and preface added. Contemporary full leather; spine in six compartments with raised bands, gilt. All edges gilt. Gilt inner dentelles. Neat ownership name stamp. Binding lightly rubbed at hinges and edges, the hand colored plates have generally lightly offset to the facing pages, else this is a fine copy.
