Very good +. 6 x 9 in. 277 pp., plus dictionary of hardy trees and shrubs. 12 hand-colored plates including the frontis, each with tissue guard. Half dark green morocco with marbled paper boards. Matching marbled text edges. Printer is not stated on title pg, which has a hand-colored border. Groombridge and Sons is on the plates and c. and J. Adlard at the end of the text. Condition is VERY GOOD+ ; leather supple with no weakness to the joints. Mild shelf wear, spine leather a touch browned. Binding tight and text spotless. All plates are excellent, with extremely vivid, beautifully painted colors. The dictionary of trees section is printed on paper that's a little browned. Nature. RGR.
