This is a beautiful book, one that would not disgrace your coffee table at all. Yes, it is a songbook, but it is more than that: Each song is accompanied by text from Calum or Rory or, frequently, both, describing the circumstances that gave rise to the song, the ideas it was inspired by, and some anecdotes of how the song developed after release, or of general band life. These are fantastic; entertaining in themselves, but also enabling you to enjoy the songs at a deeper level. Having read Going Home: Runrig Story , the text contained here complements that book very nicely
