This would have been a very time consuming book to produce due to the many hand coloured paintings - up to four to some pages and although the issue number is not stated it is likely to have been very small certainly in comparison to modern book production methods and consequently is quite a scarce book.The copy offered has recently been re-backed by us with a new mull, back strip and close match cloth laid under the original spine and re-cased with replacement end papers.
