An autobiography by the author of "The W Plan," " The Governor of Kattowitz," "Colonel Grant's To-morrow," "The Thirty-Third Division in France and Flanders," "Silesia Revisited," etc. Dark blue cloth with gilt titling on spine, simple blind-stamped border on front, black and white frontispiece, illustrated with captioned black and white photographs, 399 pages. Cover has significant edge wear and shelf wear, rear gutter detached, two inches at upper end of front gutter split, cover has multiple stains, partial sticker on lower front, spine and edges sunned, text block edges darkened, front and rear hinges cracked, spine cracked to a lesser degree in several places in text, owner's name and date on front fixed end paper, some of the plates are detached and laid in, Page 159/60 is detached, wrinkled and torn and laid in, foxing spots in text.
