London: Faber and Faber, 1934. A first edition, first printing published by Faber and Faber in 1934. A near fine book with inscriptions, in a clipped unrestored wrapper which has a chip to the head of the spine and a small one to the foot of the front panel. Repaired tear to the rear panel. Some chipping to the corners. Scarce third book by the renowned crime master. Exceptionally rare in the period wrapper.
