London: Batsford, 1948. Second edition (hardback). 8vo (22cm by 15cm), 184pp. Colour frontispiece, 181 b&w plates. Original green cloth, dustwrapper (by Brian Cook). There is some foxing to the edges of the text block, and an ownership inscription; overall, the book is in good to very good condition. The dustwrapper is in good condition (edges chipped, torn with slight loss).
