The binding is tight and as new. The dust-jacket colors and illustrations are bold and bright, designed by John Condon. There is a small blemish from item pressed between pages 96 and 97, and a small tear to rear endpaper ; Summary:Forfeit is a novel by Dick Francis. It tells the story of a high schooler, Jack, who is the captain of the team that is scheduled to play in the state championships. However, Jack becomes ill and is forced to forfeit the game.
