First thus edition. Original gilt decorated red leather and pale yellow eps, aeg. 16mo. pp. (vi), xii, 9-282. Good. Edge worn with joints starting and head and heel chips, foxing starting internally about plates. Pencil owner G. G. Churchill front pastedown. Per Tepper pp.76 all original material and an early take on the Alamo by B. J. Lossing (Fall of Bexar: A Texian Tale pp. 189)..
