About This Item

First printing. Foreword by John Fowles. Book has slight creasing to spine edges and slight tanning to the pages. Unclipped DJ which is protected in a removable protective sleeve has light creasing to the edges. Signed by Tattersfield and Fowles on the title page. Meticulously kept by Walter Prideaux, the log of the Daniel and Henry provides an astonishing record of a trading venture in the year 1700, when the 'Daniel and Henry' set sail from Dartmouth, bound for the Guinea coast and Jamaica.
