The album is written 64 years after the war. Initially written in the native language of Estonia and translated to English for this book. It is filled with high quality black and white photos from this era made possible by cooperation between publishers and many museum and archives, which supplied most of the Illustrations in this book.
This powerful album is dedicated to the memory of the tens of thousands of Estonian men and women who had given their lives to protect their countries freedom from outside foreign soldiers.
