A broad collection of woodcuts by Chinese revolutionary artists.
With a short foreword about Chinese woodcut and woodblock printing, that is followed by the reproductions of the images, mostly with revolutionary themes by Xia Feng, Lu Xun, Li Hua, Wang Qi, Gu Yuan, etc.
Published to deepen the knowledge about the art and its history of China, and to propagate the friendship between the Communist countries of the Eastern Block and People's Republic of China.
Scarce, we could trace only 2 copies in institutional holdings, no copy in the US.
