MISSING SEVERAL AD PAGES at the front; crayon drawing to covers and many ad pages, the main article section is clean. Wear to covers. Sold as is. Many interesting articles in this beautiful publication with striking lithographic cover, plus elegant color and black and white advertisements.
Of particular interest is a section on China "Contemporary China A Portfolio" by Jan Porel "some leaves from the 'diary' of this latest excursion' which includes a seven page article entitled "Celestial Modernism in the Banks of China" andfive color illustrations of Chinese subjects including a half page view of Hong Kong seen from The Peak.
Other articles: Long Island 1932. A portfolio of aerial photographs...of the world's most fashionable island - together with a map clearly indicating the site of each exposure" - the black and white decorative map is by Robert Ball (spot in lower left margin);
