Another fine contribution to The Ars Typographica Library, James Moran, General Editor, and this copy in original publisher's hardcover, cloth over boards format is particularly lovely, with gilt lettering to cover and spine, gilt bordered flourishes. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, showing only very minor wear, protected by a plastic coat, price-clipped. The subject of this fine biography, Pierre Simon Fournier, was born in 1712 and died in 1768, and he is well known for modernizing traditional letter forms. 15 black-and-white illustrations including one that is two-page. xiv + 89 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards. Additional postage may be required for oversize or especially heavy volumes, and for sets.
