London: The London Printing And Publishing Company, circa mid 1800's. Hardcover. Original, Good Condition. 'Carefully Compiled From Original Documents In The Government State-Paper Offices, And Known As The "Acts And Monuments" Of The Christian Church.' Marble boards, edges and endpapers, front endpaper has library sticker from St Marks, Canberra, Goulburn Diocesan Library and noted as a 'spare'. 1/2 leather. Leather spine has five raised bands with title and ornate gilt design. Some foxing to first few leaves, 984 pages, 27 steel engraved plates, contents Book I - IX plus Appendix. A very tight and good copy.
