Small (5.5x8") medium brown cloth hardcover with black design on front cover and gold lettering on spine. Spine and front cover in very nice condition; back cover exposed to moisture and is rippled and very light in color due to loss of dye; rear endpaper quite rippled. No other moisture damage, not musty, no mildew or foxing. Old inscriptions etc on first page otherwise unmarked; remnants of dried flower on next page with inscription "from Mama from our garden 1887".
