Snugly bound in 1/4 green morocco leather backed spine and pebbled green cloth boards with extra gilt designs and ruling to spine with 5 raised bands. Boards with ruling in blind and decorative emblem in gilt to upper board. Handsome marbled endsheets. Binding snug and neat with handsome shelf presence. Mild shelf rubbing to cloth at corner tips. Scattered light to moderate foxing to page stock. Illustrated with 360 "gravures" - woodcuts in text of military dress, arms. Insignia and naval vessels etc. Very nicely bound 1st ed. Copy. VG .
