New York: Harper & Brothers, 1836. This is a Very Good copy of the First American Edition. Brown cloth binding, embossed with floral motif; gilt lettering on the spine. Clean text, but foxed throughout; 477 pages, with six pages of publisher's adverts in the rear. Reverse of TP has a list of the Edgeworth editions published by Harper. Corners are bumped, but a solid copy. Period bookplate on the front pastedown, and wish a cotemporary inscription on the FFEP. In an archival plastic protector.. First American Edition.. Hard Cover. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
