NY: Harper and Brothers, 1848. Hardcover. Very Good. 4 x 6 1/2 in. 247 pgs. Publisher's blindstamp decorated reddish brown cloth with gilt lettering on spine. Condition is VERY GOOD ; corners worn, ends of spine bumped with minor chipping and loss. Covers faintly spotted and spine sunned. Binding tight, text very clean with some very minor foxing, gift inscription dated 1850 on second ffep. Fiction. Stax.
