Synopsis

Freckle Juice is a 1971 children's book by Judy Blume. This short story is about Andrew Marcus, a second grade student who wants to look like Nicky Lane (a fellow classmate, and who happens to have a large number of freckles) by having freckles. Andrew wants freckles so his mother won't be able to tell if his face is dirty, and he makes many attempts to get freckles.
