In 281 + [2] pages + ad for other Pocket titles in rear. Orig. published in hardcover in 1944, this is the FIRST MASS MARKET PAPERBACK edition, First Printing, from June 1946 (Pocket books #382). Condition is VG+: extremely clean & bright, pages lightly tanned, commensurate with age, but unmarked save for former owner's name & date to ffep. Binding tight & square. Former owner has put clear tape around all outer edges, which has protected them, but has yellowed.
