London: Rodwell & Martin , 1822. 4to, engraved title and 64 steel engraved plates by Charles Heath, E.J. Roberts, John Rolfe and others after Batty, interleaved with text. Title slightly cropped, old ownership signature partially washed out from upper margin; plate 57 misbound with plate 13. Modern half calf. Batty was a talented amateur artist who served with the Grenadier Guards in the Peninsular War and at Waterloo. Book
