Gray pictorial boards with white titles in black shadowbox on spine and front board; pictures on spine and front board of the boys in action. Internal hinges are sound and not cracked or split. 256 pp 12mo. This was a book series to introduce boys to some real heroes and role models. Historically the books represent a true picture of a period in our history when the nation set its face towards this vast unknown West and conquered it. Wyn Roosevelt was a house pseudonym used by the Stratemeyer Syndicate. This book is about the adventures of Jim, Joe, and Tom Darlington in Hawaii where they fight off wild animals and gangs of evil doers who were terrorizing the civilians. A clean presentable copy.
