Oxford: Basil Blackwood Blue cloth with colour illustration pasted to the front yellow lettering above and below, with title and author. 32 pages, illustrated with line drawings. 6.75 X 8.25 inches. Undated,. Number 62 in this Blackwell series of children's titles, which includes other titles by Algernon Blackwood . Printed at The Shakespeare Head press..The artist's name on the illustrations is not entirely discernible, looks like "Marion Collins" or someting close.There is a brief gift inscriotion on the front free endpaper dated 1926 or 1936.Alll the line illustrations have been coloured in, although quite carefully and neatly. Externally the cloth is rather faded with a touch of wear to the corners and spine ends. A good sound copy.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket.
