From the Library of Sir John Mills and Mary Mills. 9¼" x 6" 200 pages. Crimson cloth covered boards with gilt profile of George Bernard Shaw on the front cover and gilt title panel on the spine. Frontispiece colour portrait of Shaw and preliminary page with reproductions of the contributors' signatures wishing Shaw a happy 90th birthday. Book condition very good, corners and spine edges slightly rubbed, cover slightly grubby, gilt on spine a bit worn, contents nice and clean. A 90th birthday tribute to Shaw including contributions by Lord Dunsany, T. S. Eliot, Aldous Huxley, John Masefield, H. G. Wells, Max Beerbohm and more. 2 colour plates including one frontis. 32 b/w photos and plates. 3 line illustrations in the text
