Bound in publisher's blue cloth, gilt lettering & decorative bands imprinted to spine. Matte color dj, artwork of Ric Binkley. Plain white endpapers. [Xii] pp prelim material, 273 numbered pp, three blank following. Frontispiece and chapter heads b&w illus by Ric Binkley. Condition notes: board cloth retains good color, little fading, several light spots apparent to both boards. Tail spine end rolled. Edges not soiled. Unclipped, mylar-cased dj shows numerous small chips and tears, largely at folds, with modest rubbing no appreciable sunning. Pages clean and very slightly tanned. One light pencil note to front free endpaper, otherwise without markings. Quite a lovely copy of the third Lensman series entry (though some of these chapters were among the first published in serial form 1937-38). We personally inspect every book we offer.

Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in an old farmhouse full of books. Paul had been providing online booksales since 2008 through several popular online sales venues. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).
Furrowed Brow Books' goal is to offer an eclectic selection, while providing specialty offerings in Eastern Orthodoxy and Byzantine civilization, theology, Christian mysticism, science fiction/fantasy (Inklings emphasis), and military history.
