About This Item
First Hardcover Edition with the "08L" gutter code to page 145 and the 2239 code to the back flap; A Near Fine book in a Very Good or better dust jacket. Apparently SIGNED by the author to the title page. This is the SFBC edition, which is the true first hardcover edition of this novel; very scarce in this condition and signed. An outstanding copy of this novel by the award winning and prolific Philip K. Dick, one of a few Science Fiction Masters of the 20th Century. This copy is in near fine condition with a square tight binding, clean black boards with bright white lettering, and crisp pages throughout free from any markings. Housed in a clean and bright very good dust jacket that shows some mild rubbing and creasing to the edges and folds, some very light soiling to the panels, and one small dark stain to the back panel that bleeds slightly on to the rear pastedown and the back flap. Overall, a sharp, presentable copy of a book hard to find in collectible condition, particularly signed by Dick; price reflects lack of provenance for the signature. Not remaindered, not price clipped, not ex-library; in a protective Mylar cover and will ship in a sturdy box. We are always buying quality books!
