16cm, boards, rebacked with black tape, illustrated, small publisher's catalogue laid in in front, 763 pp., plus 24 pp. street index dated 1827. Boards are a bit worn at extremities, top hinge is cracked, one page from publisher's catalogue loose, first map with some crude tape repairs at the top, map is a little browned and soiled with minor chips and tears, contents with a little foxing, aging, and browning; good overall. This is the 17th edition of this somewhat scarce Paris guidebook. The book is in English, and has 15 plates and two folding maps. The title page indicates a description of Palace Park and Versailles is included, and "a plan for viewing Paris in a week." OCLC.
