Signed first edition with a generic inscription "To a valued reader...." Hardcover with blue boards and gilt titling to the spine. Endpapers illustrated with maps. Good only: boards worn, spine cocked (reading slant). Previous owner's mark (signature?) on half title. Dust jacket is rubbed and has several short closed tears.
