Pages are lightly tanned with mild foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper, with smoke damage and a few small nicks along text block edge. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with mild bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Very heavy tanning to spine (presumably smoke damage), with visible crushing to spine ends. Boards are subtly bowed.

Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Boards are slightly bowed.

GB: Everyman's Library (Dent/Dutton), 1927. Orange cloth lettered in gold on spine (no decoration). Blue "Belles-Lettres" DW has black and white "rosette" signed ER on front cover. Rear cover states "OVER NINE HUNDRED VOLUMES". Book is in nearly fine condition with only slightest signs of wear and/or age. Dustwrapper/dustjacket is in very good minus condition with minor but noticeable signs of wear and/or age. In loose polythene protector. . Reprint Thus. Hardback. nrFine/VG DW.
