New York 1929 1st Liveright. Hardcovers. 2 volumes. Octavos, brown cloth with gilt and black decoration. Books are Fine (extremely slight bleeding of dj printing onto end papers). The attractive dust jackets by Samuel Schaffer are Good on Volume 1 and Fair on Volume 2 with a few big chips on lower spine end (but brown cloth beneath fills in nicely.) No box. Foxing on the topedge with slight foxing on foredge of both volumes, small tears at the bottom margin of several pages of Volume 2, very good in very good dust jackets with small tears, toned spines with chipping at the ends, and shallow loss at the crown of Volume 1, lacking the cardboard slipcase.

Book Condition: sun toned spines, shallow chipping to spine ends, small splashes to both. Bindings very sound, and decorated covers bright and unmarred; internally brilliant and unmarred-Very Good+.
