Hardback, 1906, first edition, published by James Clarke & Co., London, 384 pages and 32-page publisher catalogue at rear.
Measures around 8" by 5 1/2". Green cloth binding, patterned and embossed front board and spine, gilt lettering to front board and spine. Binding has largely retained its colour, though there are some small scuffs and marks and some signs of shelf-wear and edge-wear. Slightly bumped corners. Binding quite firm, only slight slackness to spine. Page edges browned, foxed and scuffed. Some foxing throughout page surfaces, though mainly in endpapers. No underlining, marginalia, etc. See pictures for further information.
